CYBR 3335 Legal Issues in Cyber Security

This course will be an introduction to policy and legal concepts relating to cyber security. It will examine laws which protect data and privacy in the cyber domain.  The course will provide the learner with the history and evolution of cyber laws and an introduction to related terminology.  The student will examine the ethical considerations of cyber laws and policies.  The student will learn the limitations of security policies and laws, and the impact territorial boundaries have on the applications of security policies and laws. Students will apply guidelines for effective testimony and reporting through practical assignments.
