CYBR 3320 Cryptology

The course seeks to introduce and differentiate between cryptography and cryptanalysis. An introduction to techniques in the principles of number theory, the practice of network security and cryptographic algorithms are reviewed. Symmetric and asymmetric public key management, hash functions, digital signatures, certificates and authentication protocols, electronic mail security, web security and protocols for secure electronic transmission are analyzed.
